A message from CITY OF MEDFORD

Hello, This is Captain Barry Clemente of the Medford Police Department with an informational message. On Friday night, May 6th through early Saturday morning, May 7th, MassDOT will perform a full simulation of the median crossover operation on I-93 between Stoneham and Somerville to model the traffic management plan that will be used on weekends this summer to replace 14 bridges on I-93 in Medford.

This test deployment will bring the existing interstate highway from four lanes in each direction to two lanes in each direction. No local Medford roadways will be closed during this test. Expect traffic delays accessing I-93 through the area. We appreciate your patience. Thank-you.
