Well as day one draws to an end I thought I'd update you on how the day went. Started off with the New Affiliates Q&A - Meet & Greet. Was great to meet so many new offices to LRE. We had alot of fun playing LRE Jeopardy & getting to know each other. Brokerages big & small were there. Learned alot of facts about LRE & it's offerings as well as new ideas.
Then it was speed networking getting to know even more brokerages and offices all over the country & world.
Quickly after that it was time for the general session where we heard from the Chairman of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, Mr. Harold Crye and RESPRO Chairman Kevin Breeland. Then we heard from David Stevens the Assistant Secretary of Housing and FHA Commissioner. Great learning from such an official on the bigger picture items of the economy, finance and housing markets and how they all work together and what the outlook is in the near and longer terms.
After Mr. Stevens we then heard from Ron Peltier of Home Services of America one of the Berkshire Hathaway companies under Warren Buffett. One of the largest independant real estate companies in the US. Real Estate is local but is influenced by national & international trends and developments. Very interesting to hear we're about 1 year from the bottom of the real estate trough and a steady outlook is anticipated.
We then heard from Guy Kawasaki on the topic of The Art of Revolutionary Innovation. Really an uplifting and postive presentation. His 10 points were amazing. Especially with his annecdotes and real life applications.
Now off to networking & dinner here @EncoreLasVegas.
