Which Cities Will See Biggest Rebound?
Which cities are likely to be the hottest post-economic downturn destinations for young, brilliant, and highly mobile workers?

The Wall Street Journal surveyed six trend-spotting experts and they chose cities based on economic diversity, lifestyle and their own personal prejudices.

Here’s the top-10 list:

1. Washington, D.C. (tie)
1. Seattle
2. New York
3. Portland, Ore.
4. Austin, Texas
5. San Jose, Calif.
6. Denver
7. Durham, N.C.
8. Dallas

Great to see Boston making the list. As those who live here can attest we've been fortunate to not have been hit as hard as a region from the recent economic turmoil as other regions. Our public transportation, diverse businesses, educational and medical institutions all contribute to a slightly less volatile marketplace. All these brains keep our economy going, we've got some good company on the list, fingers crossed we can stay & gain on the list. Massachusetts and proud of it :).
