Medford's Brooks Estate spring spruce-up set for May 9 - Medford, MA - Medford Transcript

The Medford-Brooks Estate Land Trust (M-BELT) will be holdings its “Spring Spruce-up” at the Brooks Estate on Saturday, May 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

As always, there is a need help for both outdoor and indoor tasks. Come work an hour, a morning, or whatever you wish! Career opportunities abound in trail work, housecleaning and related chores.

Please meet at the Shepherd Brooks Manor up at the end of the access drive. Please walk in off Grove Street (look for blue sign/gate).

Outdoor pruning tools, mops, rags, etc. are always welcome. M-BELT provides gloves and bags, but bring your own gloves if you have a special pair. Wear sensible shoes.

CSL credit given to Medford High School students (parental permission is required).

As always, snacks and soft drinks/water will be served to hardworking crews.

Important parking instructions: do not park in the Brooks Estate unless you need handicapped parking at the Manor. Do not park in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

The Brooks Estate has been preserved in perpetuity for the benefit of the people of Medford and the environment. M-BELT is the community nonprofit organization dedicated solely to the protection and restoration of this community asset.
