The following is a tentative sweeping schedule for the city of Medford’s spring clean up. This schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions/equipment breakdown, etc.
Streets will be posted the day before on telephone poles and windshields, please watch for postings! Your cooperation in removing vehicles from posted streets will assist in the program.
This schedule is subject to change.
· April 8: From Spring Street to Cudworth to Salem and all streets inside these boundaries.
· April 9: From Central Avenue to Fellsway West to Forest Street to Cypress Road. All streets inside these boundaries.
· April 10: From Fellsway West to Salem Street to Winslow Avenue.
· April 13: From Fulton Street to Highland Avenue, East Border Road to Malden line-Elm Street to Fulton Street to Fellsway West. All streets inside these boundaries.
· April 14: From Roosevelt Road to High Street, Forest Street to Governors Avenue. All streets inside these boundaries.
· April 15: From Governors Avenue to Winthrop Street to Winchester line. All streets inside these boundaries.
· April 16: From Winthrop Street to High Street to railroad tracks. All streets inside these boundaries.
· April 17: From railroad tracks to Mystic Valley Parkway to Harvard Avenue. All streets inside these boundaries.
· April 20: Patriots Day holiday. No sweeping!
· April 21: From Harvard Avenue to Winthrop Street, High Street to Boston Avenue. All streets inside these boundaries.
· April 22: From Boston Avenue to Somerville line to Mystic River. All streets inside these boundaries.
Note: Due to excessive amounts of sand used this past winter, sweeping may be extended in one area before moving to another section of the city.
The Medford Police Department will be towing.
