Medford Lions Club Annual Charity Fundraiser

Medford Lions Club Annual Charity Fundraiser

On Friday evening November 7th, 2008 the Medford Lions Club will be hosting its annual charity fundraiser “A Tribute to the Stars” at the Medford Elks Club. This year’s “star” performers will be Elton John & Rod Stewart. Songs from both artists’ extensive catalogues will be featured & I’m told that the performers are really top notch in their presentation and performances.

Fundraising calls have been hampered this year due to a phone scam earlier in the year for a phony charity. I wanted to reassure the residents of Medford that the fundraiser call center will be again attempting to reach out to our community in search of support & offering tickets to this year’s performance. Light food & desert will be served. Cash bar is also available.
If you or your family receives a call from the Medford Lions Club, please rest assured that it is genuine. If there is any question you can confirm the validity of the call anytime by contacting the following members of Medford Lions Club:

1. Mr. John McGillivray – 617-679-6317 (Past President)
2. Mr. Matt Hollis – 617-470-9797 (Current President)
3. Mr. Dave Mello – 508-965-4754 (Event Coordinator)
4. Mr. Scott Nelson – 781-820-2518 (Me)

If you or your business is interested in advertising in the evenings playbill please contact me @ Pondguard1@aol.com or 781-820-2518 or Dave Mello @ 508-965-4754. With your assistance we can make a difference in someones life with the gift of sight. Hope to see you there.
